I can play the guitar and sing now.
My newest toy and my new built in the Suburbs - the Bionic Bliss art gallery. The current exhibition is a video installation by my friend RL-artist Sabina-Maria van der Linden, which you simply cannot miss!
For one night the Fuchsbau was turned into a tiki bar.
iPhoning at home.
Currently preferring the Cadillac over the Bentley a bit.
Harvey's Wreck Bar in the Wastelands, an amazing place!

Yes, it's true! I've got an elephant now.

I thought this is a pretty nice photo, with a more creative camera angle.

Moni alone at home

That's me in front of my bungalow in Shermerville.

The Bluebird

The Bluebird, one of my builts in Shermerville, is a former movie theater from the age of art deco. Today it's a club. I also used to live in there.

The Charles-Darwin-Church

I built this "Charles Darwin Church of Human Sense and Sensibility" in 2007 on Pangaea. When we had to leave the island in 2009 the church was moved tom Shermerville. The interior design resembles the ossuary in Sedlec, Kutna Hora (Kuttenberg), Czech Republic. The windows were designed by Moritz R® of Der Plan, originally meant to be stage designs for his band. The church isn't really a church today, but a place to meditate and to honor Charles Darwin, who changed the way we see the world.

On May 20, 2010, the Musée d'Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris reported the overnight theft of five paintings from its collection. The paintings taken were "Le pigeon aux petits pois" by Pablo Picasso, "La Pastorale" by Henri Matisse, "L'Olivier Près de l'Estaque" by George Braque, "La Femme à l'éventail" by Amedeo Modigliani and "Nature Morte aux Chandeliers" by Fernand Léger and were valued at €100 million euros ($123 million).

And the SASC had them. Made available to the general public in Shermerville, 2010.

The finished SASC

The finished Shermerville Arts and Science Club is currently hosting a permanent exhibition of threedimensional and animated Second Life artworks.

How to make your Mac play SL faster

If you have one of those new Macs with a Nvidia 9400M onboard graphic chip, which is used f.i. in laptops and the Mac Mini, you need to check the hardware settings of your graphic preferences. Go Pref --> graphics --> custom --> hardware settings and deactivate the Vertex VBO, because this graphic card does not work with them. It has its own so called stream processors. If you had it checked before, you should experience a remarkable increase in speed and smoothness of your viewer!

That silly Linden operation "adult content"

Linden is moving everything they consider "adult content" to seperate sims now. This is particulary silly, since you have to be an adult anyway to be in Second Life at all. It is a terrible conservative puritan move of Linden Lab and will have its negative effect on the SL experience. But not only do they ban locations, they also ban "adult" words from the inworld search engine. One of these words is "penis", a word that even my two year old son already knew what it means.

This is my artistic comment on the silliest and perhaps most devastating thing that ever happened to Second Life. I shamelessly ripped it off the copyright of René Magritte, the great surrealist painter, who would surely forgive me nonetheless, if he knew what I used it for: a call for freedom!

My latest construction site - the SASC

I am currently building the new Shermerville Arts and Science Club. This old respectful institution originally built in 2006 urgently needed a face-lift. When finished I will curate exhibitions and celebrate openings there. I chose an open and transparent design to demonstrate its embeddment in the environment of Shermerville and its people. The floor construction inside is variable and can be changed for eventual needs of upcoming exhibitions and/or events. I made everything including the logo. I hope the building will be the new landmark of Shermerville, one of the oldest sims in Second Life! ;-)

Fuchsbau eröffnet

I just opened my new bar called "Fuchsbau", located in Shermerville NW. It's right next to my house. Everybody is welcome to hang out and listen to good music, have a Red Fox beer, dance and even watch any YouTube videos. http://slurl.com/secondlife/Shermerville/%20NW/11/7/27

I thought I let a professional take some photos of me. In a real studio. Here is what came out of it.

New Marina on Pangaea

We just built a new Marina on our island, basically to give a decent home to the super-expensive yacht we bought. Join us!
